Magazine contributions
If you have an interesting story or account to tell of the park, please email me
on the ‘webmaster’ link above. The same email can be used to send noteworthy photographs,
(and hopefully be included in the galleries). If you wish to be credited please mention
this, supplying your name as you wish it to appear.
The latest edition of our magazine, 2011 issue 2, is now available (free to members
and £1 for non-members). The next issue, 2011 issue 3, will be available probably
during February or March 2012. The magazine, with 16 full colour pages, is published
three times a year.

Site host
This site is now being hosted by Bluehost. First impressions are very favourable;
there are many features and plenty of help, in the form of both tutorial videos and
queries dealt by email. The size of the site is described as ‘unlimited’ (fair use
policies apply) so you will see an expansion of the galleries at least.

25th January 2012
- Wildlife Sightings 2012 Now contains all the wildlife photographs posted on this
site for the current year 2012. The format is the newer Flash gallery display, which
is much quicker and easier to manage.
- Wildlife Sightings 2011 Now contains all the wildlife photographs posted on this
site for the past year 2011.
- Events & Meetings has been update with events for this year, with more to follow.
- William A new ‘Own page’ gallery has been created, featuring the photographs by
William (the editor). Found at the bottom of the Gallery page or the link at the
beginning of this sentence.
20th December 2011
- Wildlife Sightings 2010 Now contains all the wildlife photographs posted on this

The wildlife sightings have been divided into their own pages determined by years,
so there is a separate 2010 page and the current page is just for the current year.
15th September 2011
- A new gallery has been added; Insects, expanding the diversity of wildlife.
7th September 2011
- A calendar for 2012 has been created, by John Burn.All details are in the image
on the News page.
18th August 2011
- A new Flash gallery has been added; Simon’s own wildlife photographs are displayed.
Membership page is updated, with new committee contact emails and a more secure method
of displaying committee members details (image instead of text).
3rd April 2011
- There have been numerous updates. Some are purely being up to date, others are
improvements and additions. The bird Wildlife Sightings page is updated more often
than the others. The Galleries are in the process of being restructured, and also
feature a Flash presentation for the first time, such as Adrian’s own photographs.
There is a current competition, to photograph a rainbow in the park, initiated by
the late Jim Normington.
