Junior Art Competition 2010
This event produced several entries but there could only be two winners, one in each category.
Each winner received a £5 W.H.Smith gift voucher. Rose for her beautiful nature collage and Sam for his colourful kingfisher

We thank everyone that submitted an entry and sincerely hope it has increased your enthusiasm and enjoyment of art. The park continues to present new opportunities as the seasons change and affects the fauna and flora.
Below is the original notification and rules for the competition.

Art is Fun
Time spent sketching, painting and drawing is never wasted. Why don't you enter our first ever Kelsey Park Summer Junior Art Competition?
The competition is open to two age groups, those up to age 6 and then aged 7 to 10. One entry only per person, so let's have your best.
We would like the subject to reflect your view of Kelsey Park, be it the trees, flowers, animals, people or building; so lots of options.
All entries need to be handed into the Friends Information Centre with your name, age and a contact telephone number on the BACK, by Sunday the 22nd August (see the noticeboard for opening times).
Subject to good weather, all the entries will be displayed in and around the Information Centre on Sunday 29th August.
The two winners will be announced in the next edition of the newsletter, 2010-
(I'm sorry but we will not be able to return your art work).
