The Annual General Meeting 2011
Thursday 10th November 2011, 7.15pm for 7.30pm (at the usual venue):
Main Hall, Harris Academy, (formerly Kelsey Park Sports College)
Manor Way, Beckenham
BR3 3SJ
This event was well attended and some photographs of the event will be available soon, once they have arrived back from the chemist. There has been a committee change and the details can be seen on this page Membership.
Three new ‘life memberships’ were awarded, to Judy and Lynn for their dedication over many years to the Information Centre, a valuable park resource, and also to Liz for her outstanding contribution to just about every facet of the Friends.
A dominating feature of the meeting was the unpopular closure of the Aviary toilets, with questions fielded by Patrick (Bromley council) who assured us it was the optimal decision in this financial environment.
Commensurate with this is the controversial conversion of the now unused building as the new Information Centre, which is the subject of ongoing planning.

The Annual General Meeting 2010
This event was well attended and was the first presented by the new Chair, Liz Anderson.
